Rose is designed to work fully offline, with all processing performed on-device. We do not collect, transmit, or store:
- Text you type, chat with, or translate
- Documents or files you open in the app
- Camera or photo data
- Speech or audio recordings
- Location data
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
No account or sign-up is required to use Rose. We do not use cookies, analytics services, or any third-party tracking tools.
Information You May Voluntarily Provide
If you contact us for support at support@getrose.ai, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and do not share it with third parties.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer any personal data to third parties. Because Rose does not collect user data, there is nothing to share.
Data Security
Since Rose processes all data on-device and does not transmit data to any server, your chats, translations, and personal information never leave your device.
Third-Party Model and Licensing
Rose runs on Google's Gemma open model, which executes entirely on your device. No prompts, chats, images, audio, or documents are ever sent to Google or any other third party. Gemma is provided under the Gemma Terms of Use and is subject to the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy; by using Rose you agree to use it consistent with those terms. Gemma is a trademark of Google LLC. Rose is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google.
Children's Privacy
Rose does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
